(Phoenix, Scottsdale and Sedona)
I’m still just getting to know the incredible Arizona golf scene. The courses I’ve played are a little spread out, but the majority are in the golf-loaded Phoenix/Scottsdale area. I’ve included the one Sedona course I played on this list because it doesn’t quite fit in any other regions I’ve set up yet. Someday, I’ll get up to Flagstaff and Prescott to explore the northern part of the state more. I also hope to add a whole lot more to this list over time!
These rankings are based on my impressions of the overall design, scenery and relative value combined with more measurable elements such as conditioning, facilities and customer service (taking into account my personal experience(s) at the course and general word-of-mouth from Greenskeeper.org reviews/ratings).
