Hi everyone! Thank you for checking out my site, whether you are a first-time visitor or a long-time follower.
As you may or may not know, I am closing in quickly on a major milestone as a golfer. I am coming up on the significant number of 1,000 different courses played. I am currently sitting at #995 and have 1K scheduled for Tuesday 7/17). As I have with many milestone rounds, I have lined up a very special course. Not traveling far and wide or spending thousands of dollars. I wanted to keep it in my beloved home state of California, where I still have plenty of top-shelf courses left to play (even though more than 750 courses on my list are in the Golden State).
I’m leaving on a four-day road trip tomorrow (Sunday 7/15) that will culminate in my 1,000th course—and beyond. It will take some time when I get back to get caught up on my full reviews and pictures to post on this site.
