Riverside County is so vast and loaded with courses, I had to split it into two regions. Plus, the Coachella Valley golf scene is such a world unto itself, it deserved its own rankings page. With that in mind, this list will focus on the Inland Empire area, which is plentiful enough—spanning from Beaumont to Corona and all the way down to Temecula.
These are based on my impressions of the overall design, scenery and relative value combined with more measurable elements such as conditioning, facilities and customer service (taking into account my personal experience(s) at the course and general word-of-mouth from Greenskeeper.org reviews/ratings).
