Last but not least is a final midnight sun tourney at Eagleglen Golf Course on Elmendorf AFB. Last round of trip and heading home tomorrow.

It cleared up nicely for my second round in Fairbanks at North Star Golf Club. Rough around the edges as a pastoral links layout. Most interesting quality is that it’s the northernmost USGA rated course.

Drizzly afternoon after long drive up to Fairbanks. Playing China Bend GC, which is located on the Ft. Wainwright Army base. Fun forested course, but mosquitoes out in full force today!!!

Tonight’s course was Palmer GC. No relation to Arnie. Flat, dusty and windswept track, but surrounded by a ring of stunning mountains.

Sorry, no full stories/pix today. Not enough time in between rounds. Tough to keep up!

First course today is Settlers Bay in Wasilla. Gorgeous setting in Mat-Su Valley. Better conditioning than courses yesterday, too.

Not done yet tonight. Late round at Anchorage Golf Course. Hope to be here past midnight. Loving this course so far. My type of layout!
